Castine Capital ups stake in Century Bancorp to 6.7%

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 21 - Century Bancorp, Inc. investors led by Castine Capital Management, LLC bought 11,881 shares of the company's stock between July 11 and Aug. 19 priced from $14.00 to $16.99.

The transactions were reported in a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Castine and its affiliates beneficially own 236,981 shares, or 6.7%, of the Medford, Mass., bank holding company.
