Vision Solar files Chapter 7 bankruptcy; debt tops $100 million

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 3 – Vision Solar, LLC filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

Maureen P. Steady was appointed as Chapter 7 trustee.

In its petition, the company listed $1 million to $10 million in assets and $100 million to $500 million in liabilities.

Vision Solar said that after any administrative expenses are paid, no funds will be available to unsecured creditors.

The company is represented by Offit Kurman and Kurtzman Steady LLC.

A 341 creditor meeting is scheduled for Feb. 8.

Vision Solar is a Blackwood, N.J.-based renewable energy company that installs solar panels for residential homes. The Chapter 7 case number is 23-21939.
