Beijing Urban Construction readies application for medium-term notes

Chicago, Dec. 11 – Beijing Urban Construction Design & Development Group Co., Ltd. is applying to the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors to register and issue up to RMB 1 billion of medium-term notes, according to an announcement.

The company is exploring potentially multiple tranches with up to five-year tenors.

Proceeds will be used to repay maturing debts, to supplement current funds and for other purposes.

The Beijing-based company is pivoting to focus on a rail transit design and consultancy as its core business.
