BancTrust Financial announces three hires to global markets team

Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 12 – BancTrust & Co. Investment Bank announced three new hires to its London global markets team in a news release Thursday.

BancTrust has added George Niedringhaus as global head of syndicate and Grigoriy Kozin as head of business development in prime services. Also, executive director John Bloomer recently joined the trading floor to focus on global emerging markets.

Prior to joining BancTrust, Niedringhaus was global head of syndicate at VTB Capital (London) and previously held positions as global head of EM syndicate at ABN Amro Bank NV. Niedringhaus has more than 25 years of fixed-income syndicate and capital markets experience as both producer and manager with specific experience in global emerging markets bonds, loans, currencies and derivatives.

Kozin was head of prime services and electronic execution at Sova Capital in London and, more recently, oversaw prime brokerage and securities financing business development at BCS Prime Brokerage. He has experience in prime brokerage, custody and electronic execution business in multiple asset classes including equities, listed derivatives and foreign exchange.

Bloomer will join as executive director of fixed-income and treasury. He has experience working in financial markets, concentrating his efforts in trading and sales. His most recent position was at British Arab Commercial Bank, trading fixed-income credit portfolios, money markets, foreign exchange and derivatives.

The global emerging markets investment bank is based in London.
