Beijing Enterprises Water unit plans RMB 1 billion note offering

Buffalo, N.Y., Oct. 12 – Beijing Enterprises Water Group Ltd.’s wholly owned subsidiary, Beijing Enterprises Water (China) Investment Co., Ltd., plans to issue a second RMB 1 billion series of medium-term notes, according to an announcement on Thursday.

The proposed offering will be issued under the same authorization to issue up to RMB 5 billion of medium-term notes as the RMB 1 billion of 3.35% five-year notes sold Sept. 22.

As with the series one notes, the series two notes will have a maximum tenor of five years.

Proceeds will likewise be used for general working capital purposes.

Beijing Enterprises provides a broad range of water services and environmental protection services in China. The company is based in Hong Kong.
