By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 31 – Paradox Resources, LLC is seeking an extension of the deadlines under the bid procedures for its assets, according to a motion filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Specifically, the company wants to extend the bid deadline to 5 p.m. ET on Sept. 28 from 6 p.m. ET on Aug. 28, the auction to Oct. 2 from Aug. 31, and the sale hearing to Oct. 6 from Sept. 6.

The company said it has received requests from potential bidders for more time to complete due diligence and prepare their bids.

Paradox Resources is a Houston-based midstream company primarily focused on helium processing and carbon capture, utilization and sequestration. The company filed bankruptcy on May 22 under Chapter 11 case number 23-90558.
