Ryze Renewables receives extension of exclusive plan periods

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., July 21 – Ryze Renewables II, LLC received an extension of its exclusive periods to file a Chapter 11 plan and solicit acceptances, according to an order filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The court extended the periods by 120 days, with the exclusive plan filing period extended through Nov. 6 from July 7, and the exclusive solicitation period extended through Jan. 3 from Sept. 5.

The debtor sought the first extension on the basis that the sale of its assets was complex and labor-intensive. With the asset sale underway and moving toward closing, Ryze can now focus on filing a plan and exiting Chapter 11.

The Las Vegas-based renewable fuel producer filed bankruptcy on March 9 under Chapter 11 case number 23-10289.
