Moody's rates Brookfield notes A3

Moody's Investors Service said it provisionally rated Brookfield Finance II Inc.’s new Canadian dollar-denominated medium-term notes A3. The agency had assigned provisional ratings, including a rating of (P)A3 to the senior unsecured shelf registration of Brookfield Corp.'s financial subsidiary, Brookfield Finance II (BFI II). Any issuance by BFI II under the shelf registration would be guaranteed by Brookfield.

The A3 rating reflects Brookfield Corp.’s A3 rating and guarantee.

The outlook is stable.
