Chicago, Nov. 14 – Kvika banki hf sold SEK 500 million of green bonds with a three-year term, according to a press release.
The bonds will bear interest at Stibor plus 400 basis points.
The press release noted that the bonds are the first green issuance of an Icelandic bank in Swedish krona.
The bank also separately sold NOK 250 million of conventional floating-rate bonds.
Dealers on the transaction are Nordea and Swedbank.
The issuer is a specialized bank focusing on asset management and investment services based in Reykjavik, Iceland.
