Compute North files bankruptcy with over $100 million in debt

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 22 – Compute North LLC filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
In its petition, the company listed $100 million to $500 million in assets and $100 million to $500 million in liabilities.
Its largest unsecured creditors are Bootstrap Energy LLC, based in Dallas, with a contract counterparty claim, the amount of which was not given; US Bitcoin Corp., based in Miami, with a $3.75 million litigation claim; MP2 Energy Texas LLC, based in Dallas, with a $2.1 million utilities claim; Atlas Consolidated Mining and Development Corp., based in Austin, Tex., with a $1.77 million litigation claim; and NBTC Ltd., based in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, with a $1.38 million litigation claim.
Judge Marvin Isgur has been assigned to the case.
The company is represented by Paul Hastings LLP.
The Eden Prairie, Minn.-based company operates crypto-mining data centers. The Chapter 11 case number is 22-90275.
