England’s Darktrace approached by Thoma Bravo for possible cash offer

Chicago, Aug. 15 – Darktrace plc has entered into early stage discussions with Thoma Bravo, LP regarding a possible cash offer for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of the company, according to a press release.

The current market cap for Darktrace is £2.8 billion.

Thoma Bravo must declare a firm intention to make an offer by noon ET on Sept. 12 or announce that it will not make an offer.

Jefferies and Lazard are joint financial advisers.

Cambridge, England-based Darktrace is a provider of cyber security artificial intelligence.
