Corsicana Mattress Chapter 11 case will be dismissed on Dec. 30

Chicago, Dec. 21 – Corsicana Bedding, LLC, which does business as Corsicana Mattress, has been granted an order to close and to dismiss its Chapter 11 case, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

At the hearing held on Dec. 19, the judge signed off on an order to dismiss and close the cases on Dec. 30.

The debtor shall honor a $25,000 administrative claim from Bright Star and will continue to pay U.S. trustee fees pursuant to the stalking horse agreement.

Allowed 503(b)(9) claims and stub rent claims will also be paid prior to the dismissal effective date to the extent provided in the stalking horse agreement.

The Corsicana, Tex.-based mattress company filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on June 25 under case number 22-90016.
