Voyager Digital eyes up to $1.9 million employee retention plan

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 3 – Voyager Digital Ltd. is seeking court approval of an up to $1.9 million key employee retention plan, according to a motion filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The plan would include 38 participants and amounts would be paid in two installments.

The company said the participants perform a variety of important business functions that are vital to the debtors’ ability to preserve and enhance stakeholder value.

A hearing is scheduled for Aug. 16.

Voyager Digital is a cryptocurrency broker based in New York. The company filed bankruptcy on July 5 under Chapter 11 case number 22-10945.
