Chicago, April 5 – Capital Bank of Jordan (B1) sold a landmark deal with a first-ever additional tier 1 capital securities offering from the country of Jordan, according to multiple press releases.
The $100 million of perpetual securities are Basel III-compliant and were distributed via Regulation S.
The securities are trading on Nasdaq Dubai.
Capital Investments (DIFC) Ltd. was the structuring agent and Capital Investments and Brokerage Co./Jordan Ltd. was the manager.
