Volunteer Energy Services reports $1.25 million net loss for January

Olympia, Wash., Feb. 22 – Volunteer Energy Services Inc. reported a $1.25 million net loss for January on negative $191,169 of gross income or sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
In comparison, the company posted a $1.46 million net loss for December on $1.69 million of gross income or sales.
The cash balance at the end of January was $7.68 million, down from $8.04 million at the end of December.
The Pickerington, Ohio-based retail energy provider filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on March 25, 2022 under case number 22-50804.
