Volunteer Energy Services reports $338,276 loss in November period

Chicago, Dec. 29 – Volunteer Energy Services Inc. reported a $338,276 loss in November in its monthly operating report on $1.53 million of gross income or sales, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Volunteer ended the month with $7.87 million in cash after starting the month with $6.34 million in cash.

A special note on the operating report states that the monthly operating report reflects debtor-in-possession lender cash sweeps as part of total disbursements as agreed with the U.S. trustee. The lender sweeps continue through May 31.

The Pickerington, Ohio-based retail energy provider filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on March 25, 2022 under case number 22-50804.
