Rockall Energy Holdings files Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Texas

Olympia, Wash., March 9 – Rockall Energy Holdings, LLC and 15 affiliated debtors filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

The company has $100 million to $500 million in both assets and liabilities, according to court documents.

Its largest unsecured creditors are WBI Energy Corrosion Services, based in Bismarck, N.D., with an undetermined contract claim, and Steel Reef Burke, LLC, based in Calgary, Alta., with a $1.03 million trade claim.

The company’s proposed counsel is Vinson & Elkins, and its financial adviser is Ankura.

The Dallas-based oil exploration and production company filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy under case number 22-90000.
