BSPV-Plano plans to mediate with trustee Huntington regarding plan

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 1 – BSPV-Plano, LLC is planning to mediate with bond trustee Huntington National Bank over the terms of a plan of reorganization, according to court documents filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

The debtor and trustee have started negotiations toward a potential plan and have agreed to schedule a mediation to take place on or about Sept. 7.

The Plano, Tex.-based company was formed in May 2018 to acquire, own, develop and operate an independent senior luxury apartment community known as the Bridgemoor at Plano.

BSPV said it has been focused on completing construction of the project and is hoping to have it done by October.

The company filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on March 1, 2022 under case number 22-40276.
