Red River Waste receives another extension of exclusive periods

By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., March 10 – Red River Waste Solutions, LP secured another extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to an order filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

The court extended the plan filing period through April 12 from March 13 and the solicitation period through June 14 from May 13.

As previously reported, the company has filed a Chapter 11 plan and expects a hearing on the disclosure statement to be held on or around March 31.

Red River said the extension will give it the opportunity to finalize negotiations with key creditors, complete a sale or recapitalization process and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan.

The Dripping Springs, Tex.-based waste management company filed bankruptcy on Oct. 14 under Chapter 11 case number 21-42423.
