Cambridge Heart files $20 million shelf

Des Moines, July 21 - Cambridge Heart, Inc. filed a $20 million shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The filing includes common stock, preferred stock, debt securities and warrants. The securities may be structured as convertibles.

The company will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.

Bedford Mass.-based Cambridge Heart develops products for the non-invasive diagnosis of cardiac disease.
