Gabelli, Gamco buy more shares of California Micro

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 26 - Investors led by Gabelli Funds, LLC and Gamco Asset Management Inc. bought 364,400 shares of California Micro Devices Corp. between Oct. 12 and Dec. 18.

The shares were priced between $3.47 and $4.75 each, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The reporting persons beneficially own some 1.23 million shares, or 5.3%, of the Milpitas, Calif., company.

California Micro designs and sells application-specific protection devices and display electronics devices for the mobile handset, digital consumer electronics and personal computer markets.
