BWAY Holding investors led by Value Act continue to sell shares

Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 26 - BWAY Holding Co. investors led by ValueAct SmallCap Master Fund, LP sold 503,555 shares of the company's stock between Sept. 21 and Oct. 23 priced from $17.50 to $19.88 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filed on Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Between Aug. 31 and Sept. 18, ValueAct sold 280,000 shares priced from $15.44 to $18.90 each and kept an 11.3% stake, a prior SEC filing said.

ValueAct beneficially owns 1,975,380 shares, or 9.0%, of the company's outstanding stock.

Atlanta-based BWAY Holding manufactures and distributes metal and rigid plastic containers used primarily by manufacturers of industrial and consumer products for packaging.
