Diocese of Syracuse reports $720,658 net profit for February

Olympia, Wash., April 9 – The Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse reported a $720,658 net profit for February on $2.55 million of gross income, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of New York.
To compare, the diocese reported a $221,678 net profit for January on $3.06 million of gross income.
The diocese reported a cash balance of $1.86 million at the end of February, down from $1.98 million at the end of January.
The Syracuse, N.Y.-based diocese filed bankruptcy on June 19, 2020 under Chapter 11 case number 20-30663.
