Athenex reports $1.74 million net loss for May

Olympia, Wash., July 5 – Athenex, Inc. reported a $1.74 million net loss for May on zero gross income/sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

The cash balance at the end of the month was $7.91 million.

Athenex is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company with headquarters in Buffalo, N.Y. The company filed bankruptcy on May 14 under Chapter 11 case number 23-90295.
