Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg sees $367,643 December loss

Olympia, Wash., Feb. 13 – The Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg reported a $367,643 net loss on $868,850 of gross income for December, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

To compare, the diocese reported a $308,399 net profit on $1.12 million of gross income for November.

The diocese reported a cash balance of $9.38 million at the end of December, up from $9.18 million at the end of November.

The diocese filed bankruptcy on Feb. 19, 2020 under Chapter 11 case number 20-00599.
