Sears Hometown Stores posts $4.02 million net loss for December

Olympia, Wash., Jan. 27 – Sears Hometown Stores, Inc. reported a $4.02 million net loss for December on $7.41 million of gross income or sales, according to a monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
The cash balance at the end of the month was $2.15 million.
The retailer is based in Hoffman Estates, Ill. It filed bankruptcy on Dec. 12 under Chapter 11 case number is 22-11303.
