Amprion schedules meetings for euro benchmark green bond offering

Chicago, Aug. 28 – Amprion GmbH (Baa1//BBB+) will start investor meetings on Tuesday for an upcoming euro-denominated offering of green bonds, according to information from a market source involved in the deal.

Commerzbank, ING and SEB are global coordinators for what is expected to be a benchmark issue.

BayernLB, DZ Bank, Helaba, Landesbank Baden-Wurttemberg and UniCredit join as joint lead managers on the Regulation S deal.

UniCredit is coordinator of logistics for the calls.

The deal is expected to be broken into two parts, with a five-year bond and an 11-year bond.

Proceeds will be used for eligible green projects.

Sustainalytics provided a second-party opinion for the company’s green finance framework.

SEB is the green structuring adviser.

Based in Dortmund, Germany, the potential issuer is a transmission system operation for electricity in Germany.
