Advanced Neuro initiated by Bear at outperform

Advanced Neuromodulation Systems Inc. was initiated Wednesday by Bear Stearns & Co. at outperform with a price target of $50. Plano, Texas-based Advanced Neuro designs implantable devices used to manage chronic pain and other central nervous system disorders. Advanced Neuro shares on Wednesday rose 64 cents, or 1.64%, to close at $39.71 on volume of 241,740 shares versus the three-month running average of 418,890.
