Discovery Group sells shares of Books-A-Million

Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 20 - A group of Books-A-Million, Inc. investors led by Discovery Group I, LLC reduced their ownership interest to 4.7% from 5.2% following a series of buy and sell transactions between Sept. 19 and Oct. 17.

The transactions were reported in a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Discovery Group beneficially owns 726,514 shares of the Birmingham, Ala.-based book retailer.
