S&P rates Energy Northwest, Ore., bonds AA-

Standard & Poor's said it assigned its AA- rating to Energy Northwest, Ore.'s proposed $273.27 million series 2008-D and 2008-E refunding bonds.

The outlook is stable.

The bonds' debt service is payable as a Bonneville Power Administration (Bonneville) operating expense.

S&P also affirmed its AA- ratings on outstanding Energy Northwest's electric revenue bonds and several additional nonfederal debt obligations supported by Bonneville.
