Moody’s downgrade Boeing

Moody's Ratings said it downgraded the senior unsecured debt rating of Boeing Co. to Baa3 from Baa2.

The agency also downgraded the company's short-term rating to P-3 from P-2.

The actions conclude a review for downgrade initiated on March 26.

“The downgrades reflect the inadequate performance of Boeing's commercial airplanes segment, which has prevented free cash flow generation from reaching the levels Moody's had previously expected,” the agency said in a news release.
