Global Blood gets $150 million facility, Hudson, Landsnet raise funds

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 18 – Wednesday brought three new deals to the private placement market.

South San Francisco, Calif.-based Global Blood Therapeutics, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, announced a $150 million credit facility due December 2025 with funds managed by Pharmakon Advisors LP, BioPharma Credit plc and Biopharma Credit Investments V (Master) LP.

Vancouver, B.C., mining company Hudson Resources Inc. negotiated a $10 million 20% six-month bridge loan facility due June 16, 2020 with Cordiant Capital Inc. and Romeo Fund – Flexi.

Reykjavík, Iceland-based Landsnet, a transmission system operator of the Icelandic high-voltage power grid, sold $100 million of bonds due in 10 to 12 years.

Also, Isle of Man-based Infrastructure India plc, a closed-end investment company, drew down the remaining $30 million under a $105 million 15% four-year loan financing.
