Indonesia’s Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama to price new notes

By Cady Vishniac

Detroit, Jan. 22 – PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA) plans to issue new notes due 2026 to fund the repurchase of its 7¾% senior notes due 2022, according to a press release.

Holders who commit to tendering their 2022 notes will receive priority allocation in the allotment of the company’s new notes.

Consent solicitations for the indenture of the 2022 notes are underway. The proposed amendments to the notes include changes to allow for the issuance of the 2026 notes and align the terms of the two series of notes.

Some proceeds will also be used to repay the company’s bank debt. Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama is a coal mining company based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
