Shamrock ups stake in Websense to 5.03%

Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 22 - Investors led by Shamrock Activist Value Fund, LP bought 1,310,100 shares of Websense Inc. stock between Aug. 21 and Oct. 12 for a total of $26.4 million, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The reporting persons beneficially own 2,271,465 shares, or 5.03%, of the San Diego web filtering solutions company.
