WebMD plans to call 3¼% convertibles

New York, April 28 - WebMD Corp. said it plans to redeem all its outstanding 3¼% convertible subordinated notes due 2007 "in the near future."

The Elmwood Park, N.J., provider of health administration services has approximately $300 million of the notes outstanding.

The notes are callable at 101.3% of par plus accrued interest and convert at a price of $9.26 per share. WebMD stock closed at $9.01 Thursday.
