VALIC I's Government Securities Fund gets JPMorgan as subadviser

San Diego, Oct. 26 - The board of directors of the Variable Annuity Life Insurance Co. I (VALIC) approved the appointment of J.P. Morgan Investment Management Inc. as an additional subadviser to the company's Government Securities Fund, according to a 497K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The appointment was approved at an Oct. 24-25 meeting and will take effect Nov. 14.

In addition, Michael Sais and Robert Manning were added to the portfolio management team, the filing noted.

The Houston company provides retirement savings products.
