Tom's Foods obtains extension of exclusive periods to file plan, solicit votes

Pittsburgh, July 19 - Tom's Foods Inc. obtained a 60-day extension to its exclusive periods to file a plan of reorganization and solicit votes on the plan, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
The exclusive period to file a plan was extended to Oct. 3 and the period to file a plan to Dec. 2.
Tom's, a Columbus, Ga.-based snack food company, filed for bankruptcy on April 6. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-40683.
