Blum buys 458,038 shares of Avid Technology

Charlotte, N.C., March 4 - Investors led by Blum Capital Partners, LP acquired 458,038 shares of Avid Technology Inc. between Feb. 20 and March 3 priced from $9.7146 to $10.0116 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Between Feb. 12 and Feb. 19, Blum bought 541,963 shares of Avid Technology priced from $10.002 to $10.325 each, a prior SEC filing said.

Blum and its affiliates beneficially own 8,931,530 shares, or 24.1%, of the Tewksbury, Mass., digital media content provider's stock.
