Stadion Olympus Fund launches April 1 with three share classes

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, April 4 - Stadion Investment Trust announced in a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission the launch of the Stadion Olympus Fund on April 1.

The fund is offered with class A, class C and class I shares, which trade under the symbols STOAX, STOGX and STOIX, respectively.

The fund seeks capital appreciation with a secondary objective of capital preservation by investing mainly in indexed investments that primarily track non-U.S. developed and emerging markets and market sectors as well as in cash positions. The indexed investments include exchange-traded funds, groups of securities related by index or sector that are discounted by brokers and index-based mutual funds or other investment companies.

The portfolio management team comprises Timothy A. Chapman, Judson P. Doherty, Gregory L. Morris and Brad A. Thompson.

Shareholder fees consist of a maximum sales charge of 5.75% and a maximum deferred sales charge of 1%, both for class A shares only.

Management fees are 1.25% for all share classes. Total annual fund operating expenses are expected to be 2.16% for class A shares, 2.92% for class C shares and 1.92% for class I shares after consideration of a fee waiver agreement with the fund's investment adviser, Watkinsville, Ga.-based Stadion Money Management, LLC, which expires April 1, 2013.
