Solos Endoscopy seeks FDA approval for MastaScope, OvaScope products

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 16 - Solos Endoscopy, Inc. filed for immediate market clearance by the Food and Drug Administration for its recently acquired MastaScope and OvaScope product lines.

The company plans to add the MastaScope to its FDA-approved line of breast endoscopes, including micro endoscopes used to check for nipple discharge and cancer in the milk ducts.

Clearance of the OvaScope for early detection of ovarian cancer will enable Solos to introduce its line of women's health care products to the market more quickly.

Solos is a Boston-based health care technology company.
