RenaissanceRe's 5.375% preferreds admitted to begin trading on NYSE

Minneapolis, May 31 - RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd.'s 5.375% series E preference shares have been admitted to trading on the New York Stock Exchange, according to a notice.
The preferreds trade under the symbol "RNR PRE."
The company priced $275 million of the $25-par preferreds on May 20.
As previously reported, Wells Fargo Securities LLC, BofA Merrill Lynch and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. are the joint bookrunning managers.
Proceeds will be used to redeem all outstanding 6.6% series D preference shares. Should there be any funds left over, the company will then call all or part of its 6.08% series C preference shares.
RenaissanceRe is a Hamilton, Bermuda-based reinsurance company.
