Reinhart Mid Cap Private Market Value Fund makes plans to launch

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, March 15 - Managed Portfolio Series is preparing to launch the Reinhart Mid Cap Private Market Value Fund, according to an N-1A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The fund will seek long-term capital appreciation by investing, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its net assets plus any borrowings for investment purposes in common stocks issued by mid-capitalization companies. The strategy uses Private Market Value methodology to select the stocks. The fund may also invest up to 20% of its assets in cash, cash equivalents and high-quality, short-term debt securities and money market instruments.

Brent Jesko will be the lead portfolio manager. Matthew Martinek will also serve as a portfolio manager.

There will be no shareholder fees. Management fees will be 0.9% for each of the two share classes, investor class and institutional class. Other fees and expenses have not yet been set.

Mequon, Wis.-based Reinhart Partners, Inc. will serve as the fund's investment adviser.
