Shamrock Activist acquires additional shares of Reddy Ice

Charlotte, N.C., Feb. 5 - Shamrock Activist Value Fund, LP and its affiliates increased their stake in Reddy Ice Holdings, Inc. to 12.12%, from 8.33%.

The investors bought 827,324 shares of Reddy Ice stock between Jan. 17 and Feb. 4 for a total of $17.47 million, as reported in a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The investors own a total of 2,649,416 common shares of Reddy Ice, up from 1,822,092 reported in a schedule 13D filing on Jan. 17.

Reddy Ice is a Dallas-based manufacturer and distributor of packaged ice.
