Moody's: Raiffeisen bonds Ba1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a provisional Ba1 rating to the three-year senior bonds to be issued by Raiffeisen Bank SA. The amount of the issuance will be up to 225 million Romanian lei.

The provisional rating is based on the bank's Ba1 local-currency long-term deposit rating and is not constrained by the A3 local-currency bond ceiling for Romania. The agency said the Ba1 long-term deposit rating, with a stable outlook, incorporates two notches of uplift from the bank's baseline credit assessment based on Moody's assumption of a high probability of support from parent Raiffeisen Bank International AG (A2/negative).
