Kopp Investment has 11.5% stake in Rae Systems

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 5 - Rae Systems, Inc. investors led by Kopp Investment Advisors, LLC beneficially own 6,803,596 shares, or 11.5%, of the company following a series of buy and sell transactions that occurred between July 1 and Aug. 29, according to a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The San Jose, Calif.-based company develops and manufactures chemical and radiation detection monitors and networks for energy exploration and production, industrial safety, environmental monitoring and remediation, public safety and military applications.
