By Lisa Kerner

Charlotte, N.C., May 6 - Aspect Medical Systems, Inc. shareholders CCM Master Qualified Fund, Ltd., Coghill Capital Management, LLC and Clint D. Coghill plan to discuss various concerns with the company's board and management.

The shareholders have concerns about Aspect's capital, cost structure, direction and leadership, according to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday.

In addition, the shareholders want to discuss various strategic alternatives including potential extraordinary transactions that could result in a change of control of Aspect, the filing said.

CCM, Coghill Capital and Coghill beneficially own 2,522,008 shares, or 14.6%, of the Norwood, Mass.-based company that develops brain-monitoring technology.
