Moody's rates Pomona College, Calif., bonds Aaa

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aaa rating to Pomona College, Calif.,'s $58.815 million series 2008A revenue bonds to be issued through the California Educational Facilities Authority. The outlook is stable.

Sale of the bonds is expected on June 5.

Moody's also affirmed ratings of Aaa on Pomona's outstanding bonds.

Proceeds from the series 2008A bonds, with the series 2008B bonds that are anticipated to be issued in June 2008, will be used to fund the construction of two new residence halls, a parking structure and a parking deck, to purchase from Claremont University Center the Central Facilities Service Building, to fund a variety of renovation projects and to pay issuance costs.
