Phoenix Services receives extension of exclusive plan periods

Olympia, Wash., Feb. 10 – Phoenix Services LLC secured an extension of its exclusive periods to file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan, according to an order filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Specifically, the court extended the exclusive plan filing period through April 25 and the exclusive solicitation period through June 26.

When it filed the exclusivity motion in late January, the company said it has started the process of formulating a plan and expects to file one in the coming weeks.

The debtor said the extension will be used to finalize, file and prosecute the plan.

Radnor, Pa.-based Phoenix Services is a provider of outsourced slag handling, metal reclamation and complementary services to steel mill customers. The company filed bankruptcy on Sept. 27 under Chapter 11 case number 22-10906.
