Gamco, Gabelli buy more shares of Pennichuck

Charlotte, N.C., April 9 - Investors led by Gamco Asset Management Inc. and Gabelli Funds, LLC upped their ownership interest in Pennichuck Corp. to 6.4% from 5.36% with the purchase of 44,4344 additional shares of the company's stock between Feb. 14 and April 7.

The shares were priced from $21.44 to $23.75 each, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Gamco, Gabelli and their affiliated funds beneficially own 270,977 shares of the company's outstanding stock.

The investors earlier reported the purchase of 24,400 shares of Pennichuck's stock between Nov. 30 and Feb. 8 priced from $22.14 to $28.30 each.

Pennichuck is a potable water company located in Merrimack, N.H.
