San Diego, March 12 - The Nuveen NWQ Preferred Securities Fund announced a name and investment strategy change in a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The fund is now named the Nuveen NWQ Flexible Income Fund.

The fund will now invest, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its net assets in income-producing securities, with at least 65% of its net assets in preferred and debt securities and up to 35% in equity securities other than preferred securities. The fund may invest up to 50% of its net assets in below-investment-grade securities and 50% in dollar-denominated securities issued by non-U.S. companies.

Chicago-based Nuveen Fund Advisors, Inc. serves as the investment adviser to the funds.
